About Me
Angela Jones, MSW, BSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker / Psychotherapist
I am so glad you are here!
It is my commitment to help you overcome life’s difficulties and become the best version of yourself. Helping others is my passion and my ultimate goal is to help you learn the skills to become your own therapist.
As a mom of 4 and someone with lived experience with OCD, I know how hard it can be to get the help you need. I also know that therapy works and recovery is possible!
Therapy Techniques:
The therapeutic relationship is one of the biggest factors in successful treatment. My priority is to create a safe space where you feel heard and understood.
Some evidence-based interventions that I incorporate into my practice are: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Behaviour Activation Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy and Behaviour Activation.
As your therapist, it is my priority to create a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes growth and positive change for you. Therapy is a process that can move you toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living the life you deserve.
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson

I graduated with a Master of Social Work in 2017 from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Social Work in 2015. I have worked as a case worker at a residential treatment center for addictions and also have 17 years of experience working in a local hospital.
